Mordin Solus

Mordin Solus.

When he first appeared in Mass Effect 2, I used to skip through all of his dialogues (I have the subtitles on so what I do is just read the subs and then quickly press "X" to skip his chatter). The reason is because I felt that his dialogues were WAY too long.

Then over time, he started to grow on me and he got to be quite endearing. I even started LIKING his manner of speech.

Then of course, Mass Effect 3 happened and I cursed Bioware for how things turned out. I can't forget the scene where Mordin took the elevator up to the Shroud in Tuchanka. His final line was, "Would have like to run tests on sea shells" That line broke my heart and I had tears for this old salarian. I couldn't believe it because I went from not liking him to loving him and wishing that things didn't have to turn out the way they did.

Anyway, here's to you old chum - in memory of Mordin Solus, Scientist Salarian!
