The students' prom night is finally over! I was part of the organizing committee and though the road to this end had been a difficult one, it had been so fulfilling when I saw how happy the students were and how excited they were to have attended the prom.

Judging from the students' reactions, the prom was a success and that is a great relief for me as a teacher as I feel that if the students are happy then that's what's important here. There were some hiccups but thankfully everything ended well.

Tomorrow's the postmortem meeting and then it'll be officially over for this year. Tomorrow is also the last day of work for this year and that is also another great relief. My only gripe is that I'll no longer have access to a scanner for perhaps a month or so (depending on whether I'll be hardworking enough to go into the office during my holidays).

Anyway, I wished that all of the entire student population had attended the prom but I guess you can't please everyone. For those who didn't, well, it's just too bad as most people had a great time.

The committee members I had worked with were great and my student, Keith, especially had been the one doing the most things and running the show. Great job to Keith and to the team!

So that's is for this year! I now look forward to next year's batch and hope that they will be as interesting as this year's. I will sorely miss one of my classes VERY much.
